Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Opera-tion, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the busi-ness. In 2025, our planned production is 5,703 kg of Gold and 10,010 tonnes of copper.

Reporting to the Superintendent – Mechanical Fixed Plant, the Coordinator - Mechanical is responsible to help develop the maintenance plan and to coordinate and direct all mechanical maintenance supervisors in all aspects of work management. This position will work closely with the maintenance and operations groups so that the maintenance plan is efficiently executed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with the development and execution of the maintenance strategy for the Fixed Plant to ensure successful plant performance
• To provide trouble shooting assistance, maintenance support, and technical training mentoring for the Trades and Supervisors during the whole maintenance process
• The focus is on safety, equipment/plant availability and reliability, maintenance costs, performance management, and promoting a team environment between Maintenance and other work groups
• Assist with the preparation and/or verification of area parts lists and safe operating procedures
• Optimizing resource utilization of personnel, time, and equipment to support steady state operations
• Coordinate mechanical activities and ensure effective maintenance execution
• Liaise with engineering, construction, and procurement teams
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and schedules

 Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or mechanical trade related field
• 5 years maintenance experience in fixed plant Crushers, Mills, pumps & gearboxes   
• Valid driver’s license (Class B)
• Proven experience in mechanical coordination or project execution
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and materials
• Participate in weekly and Shut planning meetings
• Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments
• Has proficiency in the use of CMMS Systems (e.g. Pronto), MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Power BI)
