Coordinator – Materials

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Reporting to the Supervisor - Planning, the Coordinator – Materials is responsible for supporting the Fixed Plant Maintenance team by ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of materials, spare parts, and equipment to site. The role focuses on managing material resources, following up with supply chain and vendors, and ensuring all required items are available to meet maintenance schedules and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Coordinate and manage logistics of materials and spare parts.
• Monitor and control the movement of available and outstanding materials.
• Follow up on purchase orders with Supply Chain and external vendors.
• Manage all material resources, including spare parts and rental equipment used at the Process Plant.
• Track spare parts availability, including long lead items.
• Process material Article Number Creation Instruction (ANCIs), maintain bills of materials, and resolve warehouse cataloguing issues.
• Verify all received materials against purchase orders and specifications.
• Prepare and pre-stage materials and parts for shutdowns.
• Demonstrate strong SHE leadership by promoting safe work practices and reporting incidents.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related Diploma.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a maintenance planner.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and the Pronto system.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other goods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Lao.
• Hold a valid class B driver’s license.
